Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Time With God (the "Service"), published by Nikado Productions Pty Ltd ("Nikado Productions", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in New South Wales, Australia. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Time With God is a devotional scheduling companion. It helps you plan and log time for prayer, Mass, Adoration, and other activities you define, optionally around your existing calendar, and sends you periodic reminders and reflections by email and browser push notification.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent applicable in your country if higher, to create an account. By using the Service you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts & Sign-In

The Service uses passwordless "magic link" sign-in — we email you a secure link instead of asking for a password. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since anyone with access to it can sign in to your Time With God account. Let us know immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes not attempting to access another user's data, not interfering with or disrupting the Service or its infrastructure, and not using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the activity names, notes, and other content you enter into the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and use Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service to you — for example, to generate your weekly reminder or suggest scheduling times. We do not use Your Content to train third-party models beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on the following third parties to operate. Details of what each receives are in our Privacy Policy:

• Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and background functions.
• Google Calendar — if you choose to connect it, to read your calendar availability and suggest scheduling times.
• Resend — delivers the weekly reminder email.
• Web push services (such as those built into your browser or device) — deliver browser/device notifications.
• Anthropic (Claude API) — helps generate the personalised wording of your weekly reminder based on your schedule and activity data.

We do not control these third parties' own systems and are not responsible for outages or issues originating from them, though we choose providers we consider reputable and secure.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, and underlying software, is owned by Nikado Productions Pty Ltd and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Service to you.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Time With God is a scheduling and reminder tool — it is not a substitute for pastoral, spiritual, medical, or professional advice, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nikado Productions Pty Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated "Last updated" date and, where required, we will ask you to re-confirm your acceptance the next time you sign in.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
